Side Note: I got two of these monkey figurines from a quarter vending machine. A small girl and her dad were in my gaze and had been looking at me the whole time I was using the machine. The girl pointed in my direction so thinking she wanted a figurine, I gave her one of my two monkeys. To my surprise, her facial expression indicated that she wasn’t satisfied. End result: My feeling of failure. Oh well, I got the dad to smile. Darn my Achilles’ heel for adorable Asian girls. These moments always make me wish I had a baby sis’.
